Charles "Trey" Walters III (CEO) and his wife Kelsey (CFO) started Blue Line Aviation with one goal: to provide the highest quality flight instruction for your dollar. Trey is a decorated Operation Iraqi freedom veteran and former Raleigh Police Officer. He grew up around airplanes and started training towards his license in 2001. He holds Commercial, Instrument, Flight Instructor, and Instrument Instructor ratings for both single and multi-engine aircraft with over 1,000 hours of flight experience.

Alexandra is originally from Albuquerque, NM, home of the Balloon Fiesta and amazing blue skies. She started flight training in 2002 while attending Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Upon graduation, Alexandra began working for the flight department as a flight instructor. She has over 2600 hours, over 2,000 hours of flight time as a flight instructor, with about 1300 of that in Diamond aircraft, and is fluent in spanish. Mike is an alumnus from The Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Flight Operations and also earned his Commercial Single Engine, Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings under a FAA Part 141 curriculum. Mike earned his flight instructor ratings in a Part 61 program. Mike’s philosophy on aviation training is that safety comes first and that there should never be a barrier on one’s knowledge because everyone is equally trainable. Originally from Orange County, CA, James is a graduate of Rollins College and holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management with special emphasis in Training and Organizational Development. Prior to pursuing a career in Aviation, James worked with attractions testing and design at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts and served as the General Manager of Operations with the Universal Orlando Resort. James is now pursuing a career in aviation and completed his Certified Flight Instructor training at Blue Line.James currently serves as Blue Line's Pilot Training Advisor. In this role, James is the point of contact for all potential students, students that are seeking additional training, and current students who need assistance with their current training programs. Charles is from Lakeland, FL, home of the famous Sun 'n Fun fly-in. He started flying when he was 18. Charles has a passion for instructing and has over 1000 hours of instruction given in airplanes, over 1,500 hours of flight time, and over two years of experience as a flight instructor. Charles is currently away for airline training and plans to return part time to Blue Line in May of 2015.

Ben is a graduate of Auburn University's flight education program where he earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration: Professional Flight Management in addition to Commercial Single Engine, Multi Engine certificates and Instrument rating. Growing up north of Huntsville, AL the Rocket City, Ben has been flying since 2001 and has accumulated over 2700 hours through flight instruction and corporate aviation. Ben holds certificates as a Certified Flight Instructor for single and multi engine airplanes and is also an Instrument Instructor. Bethany has been in the aviation field for over ten years. She started as an aviation student at Purdue University where she obtained all of her flight training. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Professional Flight Technology. She instructed at Purdue University before being hired by Republic Airlines where she flew Embraer 175 aircraft. She went on to work at Delta private jets. She is now a stay at home mom and enjoys teaching flying to stay involved with aviation. She has over 5,000 hours of flight time, most of which is in Jets as a professional pilot. Originally from South Korea, John moved to the United States in 1999. He has a background in martial arts and competed as a part of the USA Jr. Olympic Team from 2008-2012. John became interested in flying after a friend took him for a flight, and has been pursuing a career in aviation ever since. John's martial arts history has provided him with elevated discipline and attention to detail that have transferred into his aviation endeavors.
